Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 9, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Rooted (the "Service"), provided by Amy Ledbetter ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Rooted helps you track your supplement stack, schedule reminders, and log how you feel. Some features are part of Rooted Plus, a paid subscription.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be of legal age to enter a contract. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or for fraud or spam; (b) infringe intellectual property; (c) attempt to interfere with the Service's security (including malware, probing, or scraping); (d) reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service; (e) circumvent technical limits.
4. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, content, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. supplement entries, photos, logs). You grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
6. Payment, subscriptions, and billing
Rooted Plus is billed monthly or yearly in advance. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics, please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled; cancel anytime from Settings — you keep access through the end of the paid period.
7. Health & medical disclaimer
Rooted is a personal tracking tool, not medical advice. Information in the Service (including interaction notes) is for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or pharmaceutical advice. Always consult a qualified provider before starting, stopping, or changing supplements or medications.
8. Service level & warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the Service, or breach of these Terms.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable export window.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of residence of Amy Ledbetter, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
